Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp rise of Rs3,600 per tola on Tuesday, reflecting an upward trend in the international market. The price of gold reached Rs273,500 per tola in the local market.
The rate of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs3,086, now priced at Rs234,482.
In the global market, gold prices surged by $36, reaching $2,623 per ounce, driving the increase in local rates.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable. The rate for silver per tola stood unchanged at Rs3,250, with 10-gram silver prices fixed at Rs2,786.
The local gold prices are adjusted with a premium of $20 over the international rates, ensuring alignment with global trends.
This hike underscores the importance of tracking both local and international market developments for precious metals.
