“4 Workers Die After Toxic Gas Leak at Gujarat Chemical Plant”

Four workers tragically lost their lives after inhaling toxic gas at a chemical plant in Dahej, Bharuch district, Gujarat, according to police reports on Sunday.

The incident took place on Saturday night around 10 PM at the CMS plant of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL). The workers were exposed to toxic fumes leaking from a pipe located on the ground floor of the facility.

“The gas leak occurred around 10 PM, causing the four workers to fall unconscious. They were rushed to a private hospital, but unfortunately, all four succumbed to the exposure,” said BM Patidar, inspector at Dahej police station, as reported by PTI.

Three of the workers passed away by 3 AM on Sunday, while the fourth worker died at 6 AM, according to officials.

The victims’ bodies have been sent for postmortem, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the toxic gas leak.
